Patriot Day Rememberance

On Friday, September 9th, the fourth grade at BES participated in a discussion on patriotism stemmed from the tragedy on September 11th, 2001.  The kids ended the discussion by viewing  a video on YouTube celebrating the first responders that were so heroic that day.  Afterward, the kids were asked to generate words that came to mind.  All words thought of were to be written on their own "cut out of construction paper" hands.  The hands were then hung in our hallway in the form of the American Flag!
